Nasum.com has been totally updated
Newspost Posted: November 11, 2021 11:50:05 by ANDERS JAKOBSONSome of you might know that web development was my profession for many years and all previous versions of nasum.com has been designed and programmed by me. When I did the last version back in 2012 I wanted to do the definitive version and let it be the visual legacy of the band. Before that many of the versions incorporated elements from the current album and so on.
Anyway, the webpage has been basically the same since 2012. Some parts have been added during the years but what hasn’t been done is a proper responsive version of it. Since 2012 web traffic have gone from desktop to smartphones rapidly and nasum.com hasn’t looked that great in the phone. So that’s the huge difference with this version. I have moved the entire website to a responsive template from html5up.net that I have used for some other projects. And then it was just a matter of adjusting the way the pages looked on a tablet and a smartphone. Not done in a heartbeat but quite quickly anyway.
Not only that, I do have updated some of the content too. Some texts have been adjusted but the big thing is that I have updated the discography page with the last couple of releases. It’s been a few since 2012. Also, there’s a brand new page for the fans with a list of all the set lists on the farewell tour. Feel free to make your own lists of most/least played songs!
I have also made the decision to kill the Q and A section. It’s been dead for years so it made sense. All previous questions and answers are still there of course. I have also removed some of the old news (eh...) for different reasons, but I guess news from 2009 aren't what people wants to read at this website... That said, there are still a few parts of the website that isn't really fully up to date. I am especially thinking about the t-shirt history page that needs to be updated. I am adding that to the list!
Anyway, every massive website update can't be without errors, so if you see something that you think are wrong do report it to me. Just tell me which page, what platform your are using and basically what you believe the error is. Send a screenshot or photo if possible. Use this address: nasum@nasum.com.
